Thank you for your support of our Value Added Benefits program for association business. As we communicated in early September, it is now time to draw this program to a close. All other benefits are unaffected and remain in force.
We’ll be sending letters to affected employers in December; here is a sample.
Key dates:
We will discontinue the option to quote Value Added Association programs in Producer Toolbox quoting tools. Any business submitted with Value Added Benefits effective November 1, 2023, or later will be returned.
Impacted groups have the option to add coverage and save money at the same time. When purchasing a new life or disability plan, groups will receive a 10% discount off their life premium and a 5% discount off their STD premium. We encourage you to review the life insurance needs with your clients and consider a minimum of a basic life benefit within the guaranteed issue limits.
