Local Infusion opened its second outpatient facility in Bangor at the end of February. The new location at 625 Broadway joins Penobscot Community Healthcare Infusion Center at 1012 Union Street serving Bangor. They are two of Anthem’s many in-network drug infusion and injection options at independent outpatient facilities around Maine.
Infusions can be as much as three times as expensive at a hospital. Outpatient facilities provide savings and convenience to members.
Anthem members have in-network drug infusion and injection options at independent outpatient facilities throughout Maine and across the N.H. border. Local Infusion has locations in Augusta, Bangor, and South Portland, with one planned for Portsmouth, N.H. later this year. PCHC Infusion Center operates a facility in Bangor, and Novella Infusion offers locations in Augusta, Lewiston, Portland, Rockport, and Portsmouth, N.H.
