As Cigna leaves the Individual market on the exchange, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the state of Missouri are mapping their Individual clients to Anthem and other carriers, based on location.
Newly mapped members will receive a welcome letter and phone call from Anthem within the next 45 days. They should review all providers in our Pathway X network as their current provider may not be in our network. For example BJC/Children’s is not in network. As a reminder, only emergency care is covered when the provider is not in our network.
Members who have a monthly premium must make their initial payment by January 1, 2024, to begin coverage at the start of the year.
