Jody Yoder promoted to Director of Sales for Individual and Small Group

Jody Yoder was promoted to Director of Sales in September and will now lead the Individual and Small Group team. She joined Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 2016, working as Program Administrator for Medicaid Sales & Marketing and was later promoted to the Territory Marketing Manager. In 2019, she joined the Commercial and Specialty Business Division as a Sales & Retention Executive. Jody oversaw the MEWA launch and managed Association and PEO business. In January of 2023, Jody was promoted to the Sales Director, overseeing all lines of business for Individual and Small Group.

Other communication updates:

• The Broker Sales Representative roles have been eliminated so that our Strategic Sales & Account Advisors can work 1:1 with their brokers and have direct oversight of their accounts.
• We’ll be conducting monthly Broker Briefings. These virtual meetings are being created to ensure you are always up to date on all things Anthem.
• In-person territory meetings will be conducted by your sales representative during the 4th quarter. These meetings will allow for more personalized discussions with each broker or agency.

These changes will enhance our customer focus, make us better aligned to the needs of you and your clients, and position us for future success.
