We’re sharing this information in case you have clients in the impacted areas.
We’re making temporary changes to health plan benefits to provide relief and ensure healthcare access for our members who live in California and are impacted by wildfire emergencies.
The changes are in effect:
- September 7 through October 6, 2024, for impacted members in San Bernardino County (Line fire).
- September 8 through October 8, 2024, for impacted members in Lake County (Boyles fire).
- September 11 through October 10, 2024, for impacted members in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties (Airport and Bridge fires).
The changes also apply to emergency responders who have been activated to the impacted area by their state or local agency, but who do not live in the impacted area.
