Central Valley Medical Providers will terminate its Commercial HMO business with Anthem Blue Cross on August 1, 2026. This means Central Valley Medical Providers will no longer be part of Anthem’s Commercial HMO network.
We mailed letters to the affected members on June 2, 2026, to let them know about the termination and explain that they will be transitioned to another medical group in Anthem’s HMO network. The 2026 ID will reflect the assigned medical group and phone number. While their medical group has changed, their benefits remain unchanged.
We encourage members to familiarize themselves with their new medical group and Primary Care Physician (PCP) as the affiliated hospitals and specialists may differ from those in Central Valley Medical Providers. Members can also use the Find Care feature on the Sydney℠ Health app or anthem.com/ca to see the providers available to them.
