Prepare for 2025 open enrollment

With Georgia moving to the state-based Health Benefit Exchange (Georgia Access), it’s time to prepare for key dates and changes for the 2025 open enrollment period.

Please keep in mind that you may not begin marketing with any Georgia Access references until the start of the Georgia Access Public Awareness Campaign beginning on 10/1/24, and upon receiving your Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) certification.

Here are the key dates and actions to remember:

• 10/1 – Consumers can begin previewing and comparing plans on anthem.com.
• 10/10 – Anthem’s Virtual Broker Roadshow — you can register today.
• 10/15 – Email confirmations will be sent from GA Access regarding broker account activation in Georgia’s marketplace.
• 10/18 – Last day for completion of Georgia Access agent certification to begin selling on 11/1.
• 10/28 – Window shopping begins on GA Access.
• 11/1 – Open enrollment begins.
• 12/16 ­– Last date to get coverage for 1/1/25 effective date.
• 1/15/25 ­– Open enrollment ends for a February start date.
