As we kick off the new year, February’s focus is preventive care.
An annual wellness exam is an essential part of preventive care. These visits give primary care providers the opportunity to assess overall health, identify potential risk factors, and detect chronic conditions — like diabetes or high blood pressure — early, before they become more serious and costly to treat.
To make it even easier to motivate your clients, remind them about Anthem’s Engagement Package 75, included with all Individual and Family plans in Connecticut. Through Engagement 75, members can earn up to $75 in retail gift cards when they complete eligible preventive care activities, including their annual wellness visit and a health assessment. It’s a simple way to reward members for taking steps toward better health.
