March’s focus is Emergency Room (ER) avoidance.
Your clients may assume the emergency room is the best place to go when they need care quickly, but that’s not always the case. For true emergencies, they should always go to the ER or call 911. For everything else, they have other convenient options.
Anthem members can use our Sydney® Health app or the Find Care tool on anthem.com to explore doctors and providers in their plan. If their primary care provider is not available, choosing another option may save them stress, time, and money.* Share our Care Options flyer and landing page with your clients to help them select the right place for care.
Throughout the year, we’ll continue to provide you with focused resources and programs that support member engagement and help manage the overall cost of care for your client.
