Local Infusion now part of our network in Maine
Outpatient infusion therapy provider Local Infusion has joined our provider network in Maine.
Our data shows that infusions delivered in a hospital are often two to three times more expensive than infusions done at an independent infusion center.
Local Infusion offers infusion therapy (medication delivered through an IV) for a range of chronic conditions such as Crohn’s disease, gout, inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, thyroid eye disease, and many others. They are opening locations in Augusta on March 22 and South Portland in April.
They offer amenities such as private suites, a dedicated infusion guide to assist with scheduling and financial guidance, flexible hours, and convenient parking. Local Infusion’s experienced care team supports patients throughout the infusion process. Care is provided by on-site nurse practitioners.
