Starting in 2024, the Virginia Health Benefit Exchange will use a household’s primary tax filer as the health plan subscriber.
Ther are 12,000 contracts where the primary filer was not the subscriber. A new HCID must be issued for those contracts. This will process like a new sale and require a new payment, or the completion of a new bank form.
