Please welcome Matt Pickett as the new Commercial State Plan President for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Colorado, effective November 20, 2023.
He has more than 20 years of payer and benefits experience with several organizations, which includes leading the sales and account teams for Anthem in Colorado for two years. He most recently served as vice president and employee benefits team lead at Holmes Murphy and Associates, one of the largest privately held employee-owned brokerage and consulting firms in the country, helping lead both the Colorado and Arizona markets.
Pickett has spent the majority of his life in Colorado and has deep family ties to the state. He earned his undergraduate business degree and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Colorado Denver. He is a former member of the board of directors of the American Lung Association Colorado chapter.
