LaSalle Medical Associates may leave the Anthem Blue Cross Pathway HMO Covered California (“Exchange”) network beginning April 1, 2026. Although LaSalle Medical Associates will no longer be part of Anthem’s Pathway HMO Covered California network, it will continue to participate in Commercial HMO. Your clients who are currently enrolled with LaSalle Medical Associates will be subject to out of network costs if they continue to receive care from them in the Exchange network.
On January 30, 2026, we mailed letters to the affected Individual ACA members to let them know about the termination. Every effort will be made to keep members assigned to their primary care physician if he or she practices with another Anthem participating medical group. Otherwise, they will be assigned to a new participating primary care physician (PCP) and medical group. The 2026 ID will reflect the assigned medical group and phone number.
We encourage Individual ACA members to familiarize themselves with their new medical group and PCP as the affiliated hospitals and specialists may differ from those in LaSalle Medical Associates. Individual ACA members can also use the Find Care feature on the Sydney℠ Health app or anthem.com/ca to see the providers available to them.
