During the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, nearly all Medi-Cal, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Expansion members were able to stay enrolled in their current health coverage regardless of their eligibility. A new law signed in December 2022 allows states to begin removing ineligible members from their Medi-Cal programs as early as July 1, 2023. As a result, thousands of people may soon lose their Medi-Cal coverage.
Join us February 15 for our next Ask the Expert webinar where Gina Boscarino, Director of Public Policy, will share how this impacts the healthcare landscape, the latest details of the law, and how we’ll partner with you to help thousands of affected people stay protected and covered. We’ll make sure your questions are answered.
