On May 31, 2023, some of your clients’ employees on Medicaid could lose access to their health plan. The Medicaid redetermination, or renewal process, has resumed after it was paused during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.

In the coming weeks, your clients’ employees may begin asking about moving to their organization’s health plan or looking for help finding coverage through the Marketplace. When redetermination is complete, an estimated 300,000 Wisconsinites and 18 million Americans will no longer qualify for Medicaid and will need to find new coverage.
