Important renewals and termination timelines for your clients to keep in mind

Renewal paperwork submission

You play a key role when it comes to implementing your clients’ health plan renewal. Renewals should be submitted by the 15th day of the month prior to the renewal date. When you submit paperwork on time, you are helping to make sure:

  • Members have access to care without delay.
  • Members receive ID cards before their effective date.
  • Billing and commissions are correct and on time.
  • Claims are processed correctly.

Retroactive enrollment and termination requirements

We must receive all retroactive enrollment and termination requests within 60 days of the qualifying event date. An exception request beyond 60 days is subject to review.
