As part of our ongoing evaluation of our product portfolio, Anthem will stop promoting our Pathway PPO products in our Small Group Fully Insured (ACA) portfolio for the remainder of 2026. This refinement will allow us to focus on a more sustainable and effective portfolio, while continuing to support brokers and employer groups with solutions that meet their evolving needs.
The decision reflects the significant pressures and changes affecting the small group market, including evolving legislative, regulatory, and federal policy dynamics. By concentrating our efforts on a more focused set of offerings, we can maintain a strong, stable, and long-term presence in Connecticut's Small Group market.
We will continue to participate in the Connecticut Small Group market and remain dedicated to supporting our broker partners and employer customers. Existing groups enrolled in the affected products will continue to receive the service and support they expect, subject to applicable renewal provisions and product availability.
