Centinela Valley IPA will no longer be part of Anthem’s Commercial HMO network beginning October 1, 2026.
We’re mailing letters to the affected members on August 3, 2026, to let them know about the termination and explain that they will be transitioned to another medical group in Anthem’s HMO network. We are working to move affected members to Premier Physician Network (PPN) and keep them with their current PCP whenever possible. Their updated ID will reflect the assigned medical group and phone number. While their medical group will change, their benefits remain unchanged.
We encourage members to familiarize themselves with their new medical group and Primary Care Physician (PCP) as the affiliated hospitals and specialists may differ from those in Centinela Valley IPA. Members can also use the Find Care feature on the Sydney® Health app or anthem.com/ca to see the providers available to them.
