Starting January 1, 2024, your clients’ employees who live in Virginia, Maryland, and the Washington DC Metro area will have access to our lowest-cost network through the new Anthem Advantage (for Large Groups) and BlueChoice Advantage (Small Groups) plans.
These plans give employees convenient and simplified access to quality providers who offer care and services at a lower cost through the HealthKeepers and BlueChoice Advantage Open Access networks. This flexibility extends coverage to more than 1.7 million doctors and hospitals in all 50 states, including all healthcare services covered by the plan, not just urgent or emergency care.
