CarelonRx’s Specialty Condition Management Enhanced program ends July 31 for Fully Insured groups
Our pharmacy benefit management partner, CarelonRx, will sunset the Specialty Condition Management Enhanced program (SCM-E) for Fully Insured groups on July 31, 2023. The program provides personalized care management for 22 rare conditions.
There are about 137 members actively engaged in the program and working with an SCM-E case manager. They will be notified by mail of the program’s sunset and transitioned to the case management team. There will also be a call campaign by the case management team to transition members into the new program.
The roughly 11,500 members engaged in the program through interactive or self-directed use, but not working with a SCM-E case manager, will be notified by mail, and directed to the SydneySM Health app or our website for future health needs.
This does not impact ASO clients who have Specialty Condition Management (SCM) or those who have opted into Specialty Condition Management-Enhanced in 2023. CarelonRx will continue to support those members and make the program available to ASO clients.
