The Pathway HMO Covered California Exchange agreement between Providence St. Joseph Health Hospitals and Anthem Blue Cross was terminated effective January 1, 2024. As a result, these Providence Health Hospitals are no longer part of the Pathway HMO Exchange Network beginning January 1, 2024. Please note, this only affects Anthem’s Individual ACA business.
Anthem participating physicians who admit to these Providence Health Hospitals have been notified of this development and will arrange for care of Anthem Pathway HMO members at alternate in-network facilities. The Find Care feature, available on anthem.com/ca or through the Sydney App, can be used to check a facility’s Pathway HMO Exchange network status.
Members who obtained services at these hospitals in 2023 have been notified of this change.
