We are pleased to share that Anthem Blue Cross and Stanford Health have reached a new multiyear agreement. They will remain in our network, ensuring continued access to care for members across Northern California.
This agreement provides stability for thousands of Anthem members who are patients at the following Stanford hospitals:
- Lucile Packard Salter Children’s Hospital
- Stanford Health Care Tri Valley
- Stanford Medical Center
Additionally, Affinity Medical Group, a Stanford Health entity, will continue to participate in the Anthem HMO network, guaranteeing uninterrupted access to the following regions:
- Affinity Medical Group-Bay Valley Region
- Affinity Medical Group-Eden/San Leandro Region
- Affinity Medical Group-Rossmoor Region
- Affinity Medical Group-West County Region
- Affinity Medical Group-Alameda Region
- Affinity Medical Group-South Bay
Members have been informed that they will be reinstated to their former primary care physicians with Affinity, effective September 1, 2025. Members are encouraged to contact us directly at 1-844-971-0117 or the member services number on their current ID card if they need any assistance.
