We have been in negotiations for several months with Sauk Prairie Healthcare to keep them in-network for your clients’ healthcare plans. If we are unable to reach an agreement by April 1, 2024, Sauk Prairie Healthcare will leave the network. If they leave, your clients and your clients’ employees may pay more for care received from Sauk Prairie Healthcare doctors and facilities. We will send a letter to your clients’ employees explaining this change and how it impacts their care and costs. Their plan may allow them to stay with a Sauk Prairie Healthcare doctor or facility for a limited time if they’re receiving certain types of care. Their plan documents include more information about continuity of care.
In the meantime, we will continue to work with Sauk Prairie Healthcare and hope to reach an agreement to keep them in our networks.
